We run a fishing lodge in Alaska during summer each year, allowing us to rent our property out to families vacationing in the area. Our vacation home sits upon a high ridge surrounded by mountains and forested views in all directions. The 40 acre property is surrounded by hundreds of acres of undeveloped private land backed by thousands of acres of national forest land. Mountain light is the ultimate vacation rental for the nature enthusiast. The home is approximately 2100 square feet and has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms within. The two story “round” concept home was custom designed to offer 220 degree mountain views including sunrises and sunsets. The natural light within and panorama of the surrounding wilderness is a peaceful contrast to the city, yet a quick drive to all the highlights of the lake and downtown area.
